About the role

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at our Coolangatta location on the Gold Coast. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to lead our food and beverage operations and contribute to the continued success of our venues - Pipi's Restaurant, Awaken Cafe & Mamma G's Cafe & Deli. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of F&B; service, ensuring guests receive an exceptional experience whilst maintaining operational efficiency and profitability. This role is pivotal in shaping the guest experience and driving the performance of our venue.

Key responsibilities

n

Oversee daily food and beverage operations, including service delivery, quality control, and guest satisfaction

n

Lead, motivate, and develop your team, providing coaching, training, and performance management

n

Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximise profitability whilst maintaining quality standards

n

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations across all food and beverage operations

n

Create and implement menus, special promotions, and beverage programs that drive revenue and enhance the guest experience

n

Monitor and maintain hygiene standards and food safety protocols in accordance with industry best practices

n

Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing to achieve optimal value

n

Analyse sales data and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic initiatives

n

Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism, resolving issues to maintain customer loyalty

n

Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and service excellence

n

What we're looking for

n

2+ years' experience in a food and beverage management role within a hospitality setting,



preferably in a multi-outlet or high-volume venue

n

Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating hospitality teams

n

Strong knowledge of food safety, health and hygiene standards, and licensing requirements

n

Excellent financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability

n

Experience in menu development, beverage programs, and promotional strategy

n

Outstanding customer service skills with a guest-focused mindset

n

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

n

Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and hospitality management software

n

Relevant qualifications such as Food Safety Supervisor or Hospitality Management certification (preferred but not essential)
