About The Role

The Royal Melbourne Hospital's Perioperative Services team is seeking passionate and skilled people to help deliver outstanding surgical care.

n

This role offers the right candidate the opportunity progress from a PSA to TT, with potential to gain exposure to a broad range of surgical specialties — from trauma and emergency surgery to orthopaedics and neurosurgery

Key Accountabilities

n

n
- Provide vital support in the operating suite by assisting with patient transfers, theatre set‐up, equipment handling and cleaning, and maintaining stock levels
n
- Be part of a cohesive team committed to safety, excellence, and patient‐centred care
n
- Transport patients, perform routine cleaning, and support clinical teams in real‐time
n

About You

n

n
- Hold a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or equivalent
n
- Have recent experience working as PSA or CA in a hospital or clinical environment
n
- Thrive in a fast‐paced setting, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
n
