About the Role
The role is responsible for the core accounting and administrative processes of a variety of clients including bookkeeping, preparation of periodic accounts, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and submission of the PAYG, BAS, superannuation payroll taxes as required.
- Bank data coding and reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable & Payroll
- Weekly and Month end reporting, including month end close procedures and adjustment journals
- Working papers preparation
- Preparation of monthly / quarterly management accounts
- Budget preparation and monitoring
- Administration support including correspondence with clients and suppliers
- Preparing specific reporting and excel documents
- Business Activity statements preparation
What you’ll need to succeed:
- At least two years’ experience in accounting and bookkeeping
- Experience with Xero and MYOB
- Strong MS Office skills
- Strong communications skills
- Rapid learner
- Detail oriented
