Job Description

- Contribute to the development, testing and continuous improvement of fire suppression products and systems
n
- Conduct product verification and validation testing and prepare detailed engineering reports
n
- Design and develop engineering drawings for fire suppression systems and associated components
n
- Support new product development from concept through implementation
n
- Participate in product testing programs, including live fire testing where required
n
- Investigate product non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
n
- Maintain engineering documentation and product information within Teamcenter
n
- Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to support product improvements and operational efficiency
n
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement projects across the Fire Suppression business
n
- Support the full product lifecycle from design and testing through manufacturing support and product improvement
n

Requirements

n

n
- Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
n
- 1 to 3 years of experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment
n
- Experience using NX or similar 3D CAD software
n
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, fabrication or sheet metal
n
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems, or willingness to develop capability in this area
n
- Strong technical communication skills,



with the ability to clearly document and explain engineering concepts
n
- Proactive and team-oriented approach, with the ability to contribute effectively within a small team environment
n

- Right to live and work in Australia
