Due to ongoing growth in open pit operations, we are seeking a Geology Technician with open pit mining experience who is motivated and enjoys working as part of a dynamic team within a growing company. Reporting to the Geology Superintendent and working an 8/6, 7/7 roster, the role can be FIFO from Perth to Leonora, DIDO from Kalgoorlie or available for local residential. We encourage applicants from a range of backgrounds and experience to apply.

The Opportunity

- Monitoring ore mining to maximise recovery and minimise dilution
n
- Providing accurate records of ore mining activities
n
- Conducting ore mark-ups and prepare areas for mining
n
- Co-coordinating grade control activities
n
- Grade control sampling
n




- Assisting the mine geologists and production team with general duties as required
n

- Driver's license (C Class, manual car) – essential
n
- 2+ years employment history as a Geology Technician or Pit Technician
n
- Experience in working with different types and styles of deposits
n
- Well-rounded technical and geology software skills
