Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport is currently seeking a casual kitchen steward to join our busy evening kitchen team.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

n

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

n

n
- Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
n
- Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
n
- Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen
n
- Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
n
- Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes
n

n

What we need from you:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or cleaning experience
n
- Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and working to deadlines
n
- Flexible- available to work 3-4 evenings per week casually when needed
n
- Strong - be able to lift, push and pull incoming orders up to 23kg
n
- Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team
n
- Australian working rights
