Our client is a specialist in industrial constructioncontractor delivering high-quality projects across Melbourne. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we're looking for a capable Contract Administrator to join their team and support the commercial and delivery functions across multiple projects.

The Role is reporting to the Project Manager / Construction Manager, you will provide end-to-end contract administration support from subcontractor engagement through to project close-out, ensuring strong cost control, clean documentation, and smooth project delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Administer head contract and subcontract packages (scopes, compliance, execution, and registers)
n
- Procurement support: RFQs, comparisons, recommendations, purchase orders, expediting and delivery tracking
n
- Progress claims and payment schedules; reconcile variations and time impacts
n
- Manage variations (upstream/downstream), EOT support, and project cost reporting
n
- Maintain project documentation (RFI/submittals, Aconex/Procore/Excel registers, correspondence)
n
- Assist with forecasting, cost-to-complete, and monthly reporting
n
- Support site and consultant coordination (meetings,



minutes, actions, document control)

- Contribute to practical commercial outcomes and continuous improvement of systems/templates
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in construction (industrial experience highly regarded)
n
- Robust understanding of subcontractor engagement, progress claims, variations and procurement
n
- Confident communication style - able to liaise with PMs, site teams, suppliers and subcontractors
n
- High attention to detail with strong follow-through and deadline management
n
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills; experience with Aconex/Procore (or similar) is advantageous
n
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, QS, Engineering or similar
n
