Job Description

Rio Tinto is seeking a Principal Engineer Surface Mining for the Winu copper-gold project in Western Australia. You will lead the mine planning function, develop life-of-mine plans, pit designs and production schedules, and influence decisions across the mining lifecycle.

You will partner with multidisciplinary teams, prepare technical reports and mentor team members in a fast-paced setting. A strong strategic mindset and governance compliance are essential.
