V&V; Test Manager – Residential & Industrial Electrical Products

Remarkable Talent powered by ScrumCraft is hiring a Verification & Validation (V&V;) Leader to drive testing excellence across a globally recognised portfolio of residential and industrial electrical products.

This role is ideal for an experienced technical leader who thrives in test strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and building high-performance engineering environments.

You’ll lead a team working across verification, validation, compliance, and continuous quality improvement ensuring every product meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the V&V; Function

- Own the end-to-end V&V; strategy across product categories, ensuring alignment with design, certification, and industrialisation.
- Co-ordinate a multidisciplinary V&V; team (Test Engineers, Certification Engineers).
- Develop and refine V&V; processes, test frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Test Strategy & Execution

- Oversee creation and execution of test plans covering functional, performance, compliance, reliability, and environmental testing.
- Ensure testing rigor through structured methods such as root-cause analysis, SPC, audits, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Drive test optimisation, automation opportunities, and data-driven quality insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with product development, mechanical/electronics design, industrialisation,



and certification teams to embed V&V; early in the product lifecycle.
- Streamline test and certification pathways within Agile delivery cycles to support iterative product release planning.

Governance, Quality & Standards

- Maintain oversight of compliance-related testing activities and ensure alignment with AS/NZS, IEC, UL, EESS, EMC, IP, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Lead audits, ensure internal quality standards, and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
- Report on quality metrics, defect trends, and cross-functional issue resolution outcomes.

What You Bring

- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience in V&V;, quality engineering, or product testing leadership roles.
- Proven ability leading test teams in complex engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of compliance, product certification processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with structured testing methods, quality tools, and lab coordination.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in residential or industrial electrical product development is highly desirable.
- Bonus: Experience working within Agile product development environments.
