A growing Brisbane-based business is looking to add an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to its finance team. Known for a stable, down-to-earth culture and genuine opportunities to develop your career, this is a business where you'll be valued as more than just a number.

You'll be the safe pair of hands ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, ledgers are clean, and urgent payments never slip through the cracks. This role is ideal for a payables skilled who takes real pride in accuracy and process.

What you'll be doing:

- Reconciling and processing payments for preferred supplier accounts, ensuring trading terms and discounts are correctly applied
- Completing daily bank reconciliations
- Processing daily urgent payment requests
- Maintaining creditor accounts and clearing outstanding items on the ledger
- Managing the accounts payable inbox and responding to supplier and internal queries in a timely, courteous manner




- Filing and archiving payment support documentation
- Supporting the wider accounts payable and finance team with ad hoc duties and projects as required

What we're looking for:

- Prior experience in a high-volume accounts payable role
- Confidence working across multiple stakeholders, including supplier queries
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work autonomously when needed
