The Role

We have an exciting opportunity available to join McCullough Robertson’s Corporate Advisory team and work alongside highly regarded practitioners on complex, high-value transactions.

Working in this role, you will advise clients across M&A;, joint ventures, corporate restructures, commercial arrangements and broader strategic matters. You will be involved throughout the life of a transaction, from due diligence and drafting through to negotiation and completion, with direct exposure to clients and senior decision-makers.

You will work closely with experienced partners who will provide you with support and guidance to continue developing your technical expertise, commercial judgement and client skills, while offering you increasing responsibility as your experience grows.

Experience

We are looking for a senior corporate lawyer with between six and eight years post-admission experience who has a genuine interest in transactional work and is ready to broaden their experience.

You will ideally have a robust foundation in M&A; and corporate transactions, with exposure to areas such as joint ventures, restructures, acquisitions or disposals. Experience in resources,



energy or renewables is a bonus, but we are open to candidates from a range of industry backgrounds.

You will be a confident communicator with strong drafting and negotiation skills, a commercial approach and the ability to run your own work while knowing when to draw on the wider team. Above all, we are looking for someone who is curious, personable and ambitious about their career, and who wants to be part of a team where they can do engaging work and make a genuine contribution.
