About the role

The Casual Gardener position will involve maintaining and enhancing the beautiful gardens and landscaping on clients properties and is required following instructions of the lead gardeners as well as working autonomously from time to time.

Key responsibilities

- Undertake regular garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and pruning

- Implement seasonal planting and landscaping changes to keep gardens looking their best

- Identify and treat plant diseases and pests using appropriate organic or chemical solutions

- Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools to a high standard

- Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner

- Contribute to a collaborative team workplace and assist colleagues as needed

- Be proactive in identifying any issues with any aspect of clients properties we interact with and either actioning or notifying management of these as appropriate

- Installation of irrigations systems

- Installation of landscape designs as directed

About you

- Formal qualification in Horticulture or equivalent industry experience





- Demonstrated expertise and experience in garden maintenance and landscaping techniques

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

- Strong knowledge of Australian native and exotic plants, their care and growth requirements

- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and designs

- Proficient in the safe operation of gardening equipment and tools

- Good physical fitness to undertake manual gardening tasks

- Customer service experience

- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team

- Full manual drivers licence
