AI Lead

We're working with a large enterprise organisation that is investing heavily in AI and looking for an AI Lead to help turn ideas into practical business outcomes.

This is not a research role and it's not a pure project management position. The ideal person will have strong technical knowledge on AI, be business minded and capable of identifying ROI's, and able to deliver within a slim team.

We're looking for someone who sits comfortably between business and technology, understands AI well enough to engage with technical teams, and can take ownership of opportunities from idea through to implementation, adoption and value realisation.

You'll be responsible for identifying and prioritising AI use cases, building stakeholder support, coordinating delivery, working with vendors and technology partners, and ensuring solutions are adopted and delivering measurable outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

- Identify and shape AI opportunities across multiple business functions.
- Build business cases and define the value of AI initiatives.
- Coordinate delivery across business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and external partners.
- Drive AI initiatives from concept through to implementation and adoption.
- Assess solution options, challenge assumptions and work through delivery complexities.
- Establish appropriate governance,



risk and responsible AI controls.
- Support AI capability uplift through training, enablement and change activities.
- Track adoption, business outcomes and realised benefits.
- Help build repeatable processes and ways of working that support the scale-up of AI across the organisation.

About You

- Experience delivering AI, automation, digital or data-driven initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- The ability to identify opportunities and turn ideas into executable plans.
- Experience working across both business and technology teams.
- Practical understanding of AI, GenAI, automation and modern technology platforms.
- Experience navigating governance, risk, privacy and regulatory considerations.
- Strong commercial thinking and a focus on measurable outcomes.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
