Project Procurement Manager - Drive strategy on a major resources construction project Procurement Manager / Senior Procurement Specialist Major Global Project | Perth-Based | Flexible

Working An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Procurement Manager or Senior Procurement Specialist to join a large-scale project backed by significant global resources and investment. Based in Perth, this role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining office and work-from-home options.

This is a key appointment during the Concept and Pre-Feasibility phases of a major project and will suit a commercially astute procurement professional who thrives in complex, rapid-paced project environments and enjoys influencing stakeholders at the highest levels. About the Role Operating as an individual contributor, you will take ownership of the procurement and contracting strategy for the project's early development phases.

Working closely with project leadership and international stakeholders, you will drive procurement activities from strategy development through to contract execution. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of procurement and contracting strategies for Concept and Pre-Feasibility project phases.

Manage the end-to-end RFI and RFP process, including market engagement, tender development, evaluation and recommendation for award. Draft, negotiate and execute complex commercial contracts. Provide strategic procurement advice to project leadership and key stakeholders.

Build effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, including Managers, Directors and Vice Presidents.



Ensure procurement activities align with project objectives, governance requirements and commercial outcomes. About

You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and contract management within major project environments.

Demonstrated success leading procurement activities across project development phases. Solid commercial acumen with proven contract drafting and negotiation capabilities. Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions and business units.

The ability to operate autonomously and drive outcomes without direct reports. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills. Highly Regarded Experience

International mega-project experience. Joint Venture (JV) project exposure. Experience working with or procuring services from Chinese Design Institutes and EPC contractors.
