Full Time Position

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Payroll Officer to join our Payroll Team. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, supportive and collaborative Team where your experience and contribution are valued. About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Payroll, you will play an important role in supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services across our large and diverse workforce. You will work closely with employees and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll enquiries, maintain accurate payroll records and ensure employees are paid correctly and on time. This is a hands-on role that will also provide opportunities to contribute to process improvements, payroll projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and within required deadlines for a large workforce.

- Ensure payroll processing complies with relevant legislation, Awards, company policies and payroll best practice.

- Process and maintain employee timesheets, allowances, leave, deductions, superannuation and other payroll-related payments.

- Calculate and administer employee entitlements, including annual leave, personal leave, long service leave, terminations and final pay calculations.

- Investigate and resolve payroll enquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

- Perform payroll reconciliations and maintain accurate employee payroll records and data.

- Support month-end and year-end payroll activities, including Single Touch Payroll (STP), superannuation, audits and EOFY requirements.





- Work with the Payroll Team and key stakeholders to identify and resolve payroll issues.

- Contribute to payroll projects, process improvements and system enhancements.

- Build strong relationships across the business and provide a proactive, customer-focused payroll service.

- Contribute to a positive, cooperative and solution-focused team culture.

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Payroll Officer who can confidently manage your day-to-day responsibilities while working collaboratively as part of a team, and have:

- Minimum 2 years' demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including timesheets, allowances, leave, superannuation, deductions and reconciliations.

- Experience processing Long Service Leave, employee terminations and final pay calculations.

- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and Fair Work requirements.

- Experience using time and attendance systems (Tanda Highly Regarded)

- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve payroll issues.

- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- A high level of professionalism, integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee information.

- A proactive,



solutions-focused approach with ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.

- A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service.

- Current & Valid Blue Card (or ability to obtain and maintain)
