About the role

Augellos Balwyn is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our acclaimed dining establishment in Balwyn, Victoria. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, from staff management to customer service and financial oversight. This is a full-time position based in our Balwyn location.

What you'll be doing

- Manage and inspire a team of talented front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bartenders

- Ensure exceptional customer service and dining experiences for all guests

- Oversee inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting

- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to drive efficiency and profitability

- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and lead by example

- Liaise with the culinary team to align front-of-house and back-of-house operations

- Monitor and respond to customer feedback to continuously improve the guest experience

- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-end or fine dining establishment.

- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management

- Exceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal skills





- Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu development and wine pairing

- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations in the hospitality industry

- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
