About the role

Emu Bay Taxis is looking for reliable people to join our Burnie-based driving team. You will operate under a bailee agreement with a 50/50 commission arrangement. We provide the taxi, fuel, maintenance, insurance and the bookings. You simply turn up, take over the taxi for your rostered shift, service the bookings and earn 50% of the applicable takings under the agreement.

Key responsibilities

- Take over the taxi for your rostered shift

- Service the bookings provided

- Operate the taxi professionally and reliably

- Cover evening shifts (around 4pm to 12am periods), early morning shifts (starting from around 4am), weekend shifts, weekday shifts, or as few as one regular shift per week

About you

- Current Australian driver's licence held for at least 12 months

- Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV)



ancillary certificate or ability to obtain one

- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration with the appropriate employment status

- National Police Check as required

- ABN

- Ability to operate under bailee/contractor arrangement

- Reliable and skilled approach to rostered shifts

- Good customer service and communication skills

- Reliable, friendly and willing to get on with the job
