What is the role?

We’re looking for reliable Glass Cutters and Furnace Operators to join our team based at state-of-the-art factory in Canning Vale with spots available for day and afternoon shift.

The shift times for this position are:

- Day Shift: 06:00am - 02:30pm Mon to Thu & 06:00am – 12:00pm Fridays

- Afternoon Shift: 02:25pm - 11:10pm Mon to Thu & 12:00pm - 05:00pm Fridays

What would my duties as a Glass Cutter include?

- Produce quality flat glass products to specification.

- Ensure glass thickness and type are correct.

- Ensure glass adheres to quality standards and free from faults prior to processing.

- Cut glass using machines or hand cutting (where required),



along patterns,templates and in accordance with customer specifications.

- Measure and mark glass prior to processing, and final measures before stackingready for next process.

- Smooth edges using hand and belt wipe where required.

- Operating various production machinery to cut, treat and smooth glass, such astoughening, cutting and buffing

- Maintain an organised, clean and safe working environment

What would my duties as a Furnace Operator include?

- Produce quality flat glass products to specification.

- Develop and maintain recipes and recipe file

- Use correct manual handling to load and unload the furnace

- Produce quality products to specification

- Ensure completion of bar-coding

- Ensure the highest level of quality is achieved

- Ensure machine errors are recorded and rectified
