About the role

GREG WHEELER CONTRACTING PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Service Manager to supervise and coordinate hotel service operations in Perth. This full-time chance suits a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellent guest service. You will coordinate front-office and housekeeping activities, support staff and help maintain efficient daily operations.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate front-office, reception, housekeeping and other hotel service staff.
- Determine daily staffing requirements, allocate duties and maintain staff rosters and attendance records.
- Coordinate reservations, guest arrivals and departures, room allocations and room readiness.
- Liaise with hotel management and service teams to ensure smooth communication and effective shift handovers.
- Monitor service standards, inspect completed work and recommend operational improvements.
- Provide staff guidance and training, monitor performance and assist with workplace concerns.
- Handle guest enquiries and complaints professionally and arrange appropriate solutions.
- Oversee guest payments, cash handling, deposits, refunds and daily transaction records.
- Prepare operational reports covering guest services, housekeeping, bookings and shift activities.




- Explain and enforce workplace safety procedures, security requirements and guest privacy standards.

About you

- A Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a relevant field, or at least three years of relevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification.
- Demonstrated experience supervising hotel services or front-office operations.
- Experience allocating duties, coordinating rosters and supporting hotel service staff.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems, reservations software and online booking platforms.
- Sound cash-handling, recordkeeping and reporting skills.
- Ability to resolve guest complaints and respond calmly to operational challenges.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety, guest privacy and security procedures.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
