Aurora Energy Services is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join us on our Wind Farm Construction Project in regional NSW.

This is a key site leadership role on a major renewable energy construction project with an expected duration of approximately two years, offering long-term career opportunities across future wind energy projects.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be a visible leader in the field, partnering with supervisors and crews to manage risk, support safe work practices, mentor site personnel on HSE matters, and drive continuous improvement across the project.

What You'll Be Doing

- Champion the HSE function across the project and ensure compliance with legislation, client requirements and company systems.
- Provide visible leadership and support to supervisors, managers and frontline crews.
- Review SWMS, risk assessments, permits and other project safety documentation.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed out.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance activities.
- Manage environmental compliance obligations across the project.
- Develop and deliver safety initiatives, toolbox talks and training programs.
- Mentor and support two HSE team members.
- Maintain accurate reporting through systems including Skytrust, Safety Hub and client portals.
- Act as the key point of contact for HSE matters with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote a proactive safety culture across all work fronts.
- Manage safety systems, including but not limited to Skytrust, 3D Safety and SharePoint.




- Assist with site inductions and onboarding activities.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude who is practical, proactive and respected in the field. You'll be able to build robust relationships with crews, support operational teams, and know where to find the right information when faced with a challenge.

Essential

- Diploma of Work Health and Safety or Cert IV WHS with significant industry experience.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
- Minimum five years' experience in a senior HSE position within construction, infrastructure, utilities, resources or other high-risk industries.
- ICAM Lead Investigator qualification.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and incident investigation processes.
- Experience reviewing SWMS, permits and contractor compliance documentation.
- Strong computer literacy and reporting skills.
- Current driver's licence.

Highly Regarded

- Experience conducting VOCs and competency verification.
- Previous experience working on large-scale renewable energy projects.
