About the role

Country Road Produce is seeking a Warehouse Country Order Packer to join our dynamic team in Rocklea, QLD. This is a full time position based at our warehouse facility, where you will play a crucial role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. As an Order Packer, you will be responsible for selecting products from inventory, quality checking items, and carefully packing orders onto CHEP pallets in a neat and tidy order. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customers receive their products in perfect condition, on time.

Key responsibilities

- Using Pallet movers, and forklifts to split bulk carton buys up around the warehouse to the designated customer's order.

- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing to ensure only suitable items are dispatched

- Pack orders securely using appropriate packaging materials and techniques to protect products during transit

- Organise packed orders for collection and loading onto delivery vehicles

- Keep the warehouse area clean, tidy and organised, following health and safety procedures at all times

- Work efficiently to meet daily packing targets whilst maintaining high quality standards

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or discrepancies

- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including hand trucks and packing machinery as needed

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking and packing role or similar environment. Particularly Country order packing mainly used in the Brisbane Markets Rocklea.

- Ability to work accurately and carefully to minimise errors and maintain quality standards

- Good physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items regularly

- Strong attention to detail, particularly when reading order specifications and product information

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team





- Reliability and a strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting daily targets

- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (preferred)

- A proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace

- Flexibility to work shift patterns as required by business needs

- Australian work rights and availability to commence promptly
