Located in Austinmer, Headlands Hotel is a much-loved local venue with a stunning coastal view, offering guests great food and beverages, a welcoming atmosphere, entertainment and a range of facilities for locals and visitors to enjoy.

About the Role

As a Food, Beverage and Gaming Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a great experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

We are looking for motivated, outgoing and reliable individuals with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality. The right candidates will take pride in delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming workplace and helping us build on the reputation of Headlands Hotel as we embark on this exciting new chapter.

These positions are casual, working to a roster which will include day, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts.

Your overall responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service while working confidently both independently and as part of a team. You will also be expected to maintain excellent grooming and presentation standards and communicate effectively with both guests and colleagues.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidates will have the following:

- Hospitality experience in a bar / gaming industry is preferable.

- Display a permanent focus on service and customer experience.

- Ability to learn the tasks required for this role whilst following Front of House procedures.

- Has a reliable, honest attitude and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast paced setting, whilst working as a team player.

- The right candidates must have excellent communication skills and be professionally presented and groomed at all times.

- Will hold relevant certificates including RSA and RSG.

- Solid experience and strong understanding of TAB facilities.

- Passionate, committed and responsible staff is what we are looking for, as well as those who can be flexible and available to work nights, weekends, public holidays

- Functions and events experience is highly desirable, including weddings, parties, corporate events and other special occasions.

- Available to commence immediately.
