About the role

LIBERTÉ is looking for an experienced, confident and personable Bartender / Waitstaff member to join our front-of-house team.

We’re an established, award-winning restaurant and bar in Albany, known for our French-Vietnamese food, creative cocktails, compelling wine and relaxed but professional approach to hospitality.

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality — making great drinks, looking after people and being part of a small team that takes pride in what it does.

The Role

The position will involve a combination of bar and floor service, including:

- Preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks

- Providing warm, knowledgeable and attentive table service

- Taking orders and confidently discussing the food and beverage menu with guests

- Making recommendations and assisting guests with wine and cocktail selections

- Setting up and closing down the bar and restaurant

- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar

- Restocking fridges, glassware, garnishes and service areas

- Processing orders and payments through the POS

- Running food and drinks and clearing/resetting tables

- Working closely with the kitchen and other FOH staff to ensure smooth service

- Following RSA requirements and responsible service practices

- Helping maintain LIBERTÉ’s service standards while still bringing your own personality to the floor

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in restaurant,



bar or hospitality service

- Comfortable working both behind the bar and on the floor

- Confident making cocktails and working in a busy bar environment

- Friendly, engaging and genuinely good with people

- Reliable and able to work independently without needing constant direction

- Calm and organised during busy services

- Interested in food, wine and cocktails and keen to learn more

- A team player who notices what needs doing and gets on with it

- Professional, but not overly formal — personality is encouraged here

Cocktail and wine knowledge is highly regarded, but we’re also happy to work with someone who has strong hospitality fundamentals and wants to develop those skills.

A current WA RSA is required.

Hours & Availability

This is a casual position, with approximately 2–4 shifts per week depending on availability and business needs.

Availability for evenings and Saturdays is important. Additional hours may be available for functions, events and busy periods.
