The Opportunity

Ready to become a Mini Monstars Sports & Music Coach?

We’re looking for energetic, reliable and engaging coaches to deliver our signature play-based sports, movement and music programs to children aged 0–5 across early learning centres.

Using our pre-written and proven programs, you’ll bring each session to life through sport, movement, music, rhythm and imagination, helping little learners build confidence, coordination, social skills and a lifelong love of being active.

What Your Day Looks Like

- Deliver fun, high-energy sports, movement and music sessions lasting 30–45 minutes

- Lead groups of up to 20 children through structured play

- Introduce children to age-appropriate sports, games and movement activities

- Use music, rhythm and songs to encourage participation and movement

- Jump, run, dance, move and demonstrate activities

- Create a safe, inclusive and positive environment

- Work closely with educators to support each group

Shifts run mornings through early afternoons, Monday–Friday only.

Perfect for school hours or around your university schedule.

What You’ll Bring

Sports & Movement

- Experience in sports coaching, fitness, dance, physical education or similar

- Confident demonstrating movement-based activities

- Comfortable leading groups of young children

- Fun, enthusiastic and not afraid to be a little silly!

Music & Engagement

- A love of music, rhythm, singing or movement





- Confidence using music and songs to engage young children

- Ability to create fun, energetic and interactive sessions

- Musical or performance experience is highly regarded

Safety First

- Strong awareness of supervision and safe play

- Ability to adapt activities for different abilities

- Understanding of appropriate activities for children aged 0–5

Inclusive Approach

- Support children of all confidence and skill levels

- Encourage participation through praise, encouragement and play

- Create an environment where every child feels included and supported

Team & Communication

- Build great relationships with early learning centre teams

- Communicate confidently with educators

- Work independently while staying connected with the Mini Monstars coaching team

Requirements

- Current Employee WWCC

- Experience working with children, particularly under 5s

- Sports, music, dance, fitness, coaching or movement experience highly regarded

- Driver’s licence + reliable transport, as you’ll travel between centres

- Understanding of ECEC frameworks (EYLF/NQS)
