We are seeking an Experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician, specialising in Histology to join our dedicated team. You must be reliable, proactive and adaptive to change whilst prioritising our patients care and being a committed part of our team.

This is a part time/job share position for the right candidate/s, requiring availability Monday to Friday on a rotating roster for shifts ranging from 330AM to midnight including rotational Saturday shifts. Competitive remuneration based on experience.

Essential Technical Skills and Experience:

- Histology Expertise: Hold an AIMS Accredited Medical Laboratory Science degree with extensive experience in a NATA accredited histology laboratory setting

- Dissection: Advanced skills in simple and complex specimen dissection

- Technical Processing: High-level proficiency in embedding and sectioning

- Staining & IHC: Proven knowledge of special stains and immunohistochemistry





Additional Laboratory Scientist/Technician Tasks:

- Specimen Reception

- Slide send-away

- Slide and request filing

- External stakeholder communications
