KILLIK Handcrafted Rum is a craft rum distillery and modern Australian restaurant in Belgrave, in the Dandenong Ranges. We also run That Little Brewery down the hill in Ferntree Gully. Between the still, the kitchen and the bar there's plenty worth filming, and nobody whose job it is to film it. That's this job.

You'll spend most of your hours in the venues shooting, cutting Reels, posting and replying to people. This is a hands-on and interactive role working with our hospitality staff across two venues as well as our sales team.

What you'll do

- Run the socials for both venues and the wholesale department. At least one post a day across the group, working to a content calendar you help set up.

- Shoot and edit short-form video. This is the bulk of the job.

- Film at the distillery, in the kitchen, behind the bar, and at events and specials nights.

- Answer comments and DMs in our voice.

- Work directly with the founder on campaigns and launches.

What we're looking for

- A good eye for brand. Show us in your portfolio

- Confident shooting and editing in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or Final Cut

- You can film in a busy venue on a phone or a camera and come away with something usable





- Positive stills as well as video. Photography will carry a fair share of the daily posts

- You know Instagram, TikTok and Facebook well enough to know what works where

- You can manage your own time. There's a weekly output target but nobody standing over you

Bonus points

- Colour grading beyond the basics

- Motion graphics

- Hospitality or drinks industry experience, or an interest in the space

The details

- Part time, flexible hours. Most of the work suits Wednesday to Friday daytimes: production days at the distillery and brewery, kitchen prep, product shoots, editing and posting. We'll sort the schedule out with the right person

- One service-time shoot most weeks, planned ahead. Weekend lunch or a weeknight, whichever suits, since that's when the rooms are full

- On site across Belgrave and Ferntree Gully

- $35 to $40 per hour plus super, depending on experience
