Club Quirindi is seeking a motivated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team on a part-time basis.

With increasing trade across our bistro, functions, special events and community activities, this is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our Head Chef in a modern club environment that values quality food, teamwork and customer service.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals and assisting with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. This position is ideal for a chef who enjoys a varied role and is capable of running a section during service while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and food safety.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals to a consistently high standard
Run an assigned section during service
Assist with menu preparation and daily specials
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
Assist with stock rotation and stock control
Contribute to a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
Support junior kitchen staff when required




Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider team

About you
Relevant chef qualifications or equivalent industry experience
Proven experience in a busy commercial kitchen
Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong time management and organisational skills
Pride in food presentation and quality
Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
