About the role

Run a busy grill section with consistency, accuracy and strong service timing. Cook premium steaks and proteins confidently across a range of temperatures. Prepare, maintain and finish classical and modern sauces to a high standard. Support the Head Chef and senior team with service leadership, section coordination and kitchen standards. Guide junior chefs, communicate clearly across sections and help drive an organised, skilled service. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, stock control and waste management.

About you
Proven experience as a Senior Chef de Partie, strong Chef de Partie, or Junior Sous Chef in a busy,



quality-focused restaurant
Solid hands-on experience on grill; steakhouse or premium meat experience is highly regarded
Sound knowledge of sauce work, including reductions, jus, emulsions and service finishing
Calm, organised and reliable under pressure, with a strong sense of urgency
A positive leader who can train others, take ownership and contribute to a respectful team culture
Full Australian working rights and availability across a seven-day roster, including weekends and evenings
