Key Responsibilities:
Engage in the fabrication, assembly, and repair of various plant, equipment, and vessels
Interpret and apply detailed blueprints and technical drawings
Demonstrate proficiency in utilising heavy-duty hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Ensure that all work adheres to stringent safety and quality standards
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet and exceed project deadlines
Requirements:
Documented experience as a boilermaker
Experience in FCAW (flux-core) welding is required
Successful applicants must demonstrate a high standard of welding and pass a pre-employment weld test
Comprehensive knowledge of welding techniques and heavy metal fabrication
Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
A robust attention to detail and a dedication to quality
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently
Relevant trade qualifications and certifications
