Support service user with Mental Health issues to manage their medications by prompting or administrating medications if competent, and following medication policy and procedures

Providing Social Support including playing games, talking about area of interest, taking the service user shopping or to local areas for social outing

Promoting independence and ensure person centred care is fostered by offering choice and control to the service user whilst in their home Ensuring individual rights of consumers and primary carers are protected and respected.

Documenting any hazards or changes to usual care in the service user’s home file. Ensures safe working settings are provided for employees, volunteers, contractors, and visitors

Model compliance with relevant legislation,



professional standards, policies, procedures, and instructions

Ensuring that all risk, hazards, and incidents are investigated, and adequate controls applied Consults with team members on safety and health matters

Referring to each Service users’ individual support plan to follow actions. Providing companionship and support during daily activities

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $30.13 – $40.60 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 12.0 per week
