About the role
As a Track Technician, you will assist with the upkeep and repair of rail track infrastructure. You will be responsible for following all safety procedures, maintaining a solid focus on safety, and supporting the team to ensure track operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Skills & experience
Proven experience as Track Maintenance Technician
Current valid WA driver’s license
Cert II Rail Infrastructure
HR and 4WD Licences and plant tickets (desirable)
Strong safety focus and team attitude
Duties & responsibilities
Inspect tracks, sleepers, ballast and turnouts
Complete rail replacement and sleeper change-outs
Repair rail fastenings and track defects
Report defects and support emergency response
Assist with derailment recovery when required
