Mechatronics Engineer | Junior to Mid-Level | Sydney-Based

A growing Sydney technology company is looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Mechatronics Engineer to help design and build intelligent hardware products for challenging real-world settings.

This is a hands-on startup role where you’ll work across mechanical design, electronics and prototyping, with exposure to the full product lifecycle from initial concept through to deployment.

What you’ll be doing
3D CAD and mechanical design for enclosures, mounts and components
PCB design, layout and development
Building, assembling and testing prototypes
Integrating sensors, cameras, electronics and embedded hardware
Troubleshooting and improving designs through real-world testing
Working closely with software, AI and hardware engineers

What they’re looking for
Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering




Around 1 to 5 years’ relevant experience
Solid CAD design skills
Hands-on PCB design and electronics experience
Comfortable prototyping, testing and debugging hardware
An interest in robotics, embedded systems or intelligent hardware
