Cold Formed Steel Framing Machine Operator

Full Time /Contractor

Steel Frames Manufacturer is looking for a motivated, switched-on, and highly organised person to join our steel frame manufacturing team.

You do not need to be fully experienced operating a cold formed steel framing machine. Some experience is preferred; however we are willing to train the right person who has the right attitude and attributes.

Basic knowledge or experience in residential framing is highly regarded, particularly:
Wall frames
Roof trusses
Floor joists
General residential framing and construction

This is a quick paced and challenging role where organisation is critical.

You must be:
Highly organised
Quick and efficient
Accurate with solid attention to detail




Able to work under pressure and keep production moving
Mechanically minded and willing to learn
Able to read basic plans, layouts and production drawings
Reliable and punctual
A good problem solver who can think ahead

Speed, accuracy and organisation are the three most important attributes for this role.

Training will be provided to the right applicant.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
