Newcastle Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Chef to join our catering team on a casual basis.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Provide high standard of preparing and cooking meals
Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
Previous experience in a Hospital or Aged Care workplace highly advantageous but not essential

What you'll need to succeed
Qualification as a chef from a recognised training provider
Time management skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail
Works well independently and within a team

Newcastle Private Oncology Centre provides specialty care for individuals and their families/carers undergoing all aspects of cancer treatment and care with both an inpatient unit and day infusion lounge.
