Female Disability Support Worker – Casual

Location: Riverstone, NSW

Pay Rate: $38 per hour (inclusive of casual loading, excluding superannuation)

Available shift hours: A variety of shifts are available, including:
Morning shifts are 11:30am–1:30pm or 12pm–2pm, evening shifts are 6pm–8pm.
Available on Weekdays and Weekends.

Employment Type: Casual

We are seeking a few female Disability Support Workers in the Riverstone area who can support participants with daily living activities including personal hygiene cares, mobility and transfers while promoting independence and well-being.

No Drivers licence is required; training will be provided. We welcome applicants who are reliable, compassionate, and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support to participants
Assist with all daily living activities
Support the participant with community access activities (outings, social engagement, appointments, etc.)
Encourage independence, social interaction, and engagement
Maintain transparent communication and shift notes

Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)




First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Must have experience using mechanical lifters and slide sheets for patient transfers
Preferred experience working with people with spinal cord injuries, including bowel care and catheter care
Reliable and positive attitude
Strong communication skills and a positive, friendly personality
