About the role

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is comfortable working in commercial construction environments and takes pride in doing the job properly. You'll work alongside supervisors and demolition crews across a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, government facilities, refurbishments and occupied settings.

Key responsibilities
Internal demolition and commercial strip-outs
Removal of walls, ceilings, floor finishes, fixtures and building elements
Using demolition and construction power tools
Loading, sorting and moving demolition waste
Assisting with waste separation and site recycling
Maintaining clean and organised work areas
Installing temporary protection and preparing work areas
Working around occupied and restricted-access environments
Following SWMS, site safety requirements and supervisor instructions
Assisting other NEX2US operations where required

About you
Previous demolition, strip-out or commercial construction experience
Confidence using common power tools and demolition equipment
White Card
Current driver's licence and reliable transport




Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work
Strong understanding of construction site safety
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a crew
Valuable communication skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Willingness to work across different sites throughout Brisbane and SEQ
