Wilson Diesel Services is looking for a Light Vehicle Apprentice Mechanic to join our growing workshop in Tennant Creek.

This is not a FIFO position. We're looking for someone who wants to become part of our team and build a long-term career with us. Accommodation may be provided to the right candidate.

Salary is dependent on age, experience and apprenticeship stage.

You'll gain hands-on experience working on a diverse range of equipment, including:
4WDs and fleet vehicles
Forklifts
Heavy vehicles and trucks
Power Gen Equipment
General workshop servicing, maintenance and repairs

No two days are the same, and you'll be mentored by experienced tradespeople who are committed to helping you succeed.

About You

We're not expecting you to know everything—we can teach you. What we're looking for is someone who:
Has a genuine interest in becoming a mechanic
Is willing to learn and be taught
Has a solid work ethic
Is reliable and turns up every day
Takes pride in their work




Works well as part of a team
Holds a current driver's licence or is working towards obtaining one
