We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Science and Mathematics teacher!
At Millicent High School we value the multiple pathways that are on offer for all of our students. We believe strongly in connecting students to their areas of interest and guiding them on their journey, whether this is University, TAFE, apprenticeship or fulltime work. We have a diverse range of students both in mainstream and Tailored Learning. Connecting with industry and our local community is a key component to our learning, giving students a robust sense of connections not only to our community but to skills required beyond the classroom. Creative, adaptive and hands on learning approaches are integral aspect of planning at Millicent high school.
A successful applicant needs to be able to:




Work in a cooperative team environment.
Have experience or solid skills in Science and Mathematics from years 7 to 11
Be able to plan, teach and provide opportunity of stretch for all individuals.
Ability to plan and create an engaging curriculum that not only meet the needs of Australian Curriculum or SACE but can be differentiated and be student specific.
Develop curriculum that connects with industry and local community providing the opportunity for projects.
Relationships are key for success with students, effective pedagogies to build these is key for academic/student outcomes.
