Duties (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE)
Monitor personnel and vehicle locations and coordinates
Ensure that all vehicles are returned at the end of each shift
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing appropriate solutions
Monitor and respond to emails promptly
Utilize computer software to dispatch drivers to their designated locations
Monitor route and status of drivers and vehicles.
Enter relevant data into the computer system and maintain comprehensive logs of activities
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or its' equivalent from an accredited institution (Preferred)
Previous experience in customer service and/or equivalent work experience PLUS
Valid USVI driver’s license (required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to walk on various types of surfaces including rough terrain, sitting, standing, maintaining balance, on the beach, and in the water, and working alone.
Must be able to work various work settings such as exposure to sunlight and outside temperature.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all persons contacted during the work.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations and secure practices.
Ability to operate assigned equipment, read and interpret documents.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely.
Must be able to operate with little or no supervision.
Must be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends.
Must have robust interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
Team Player, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Experience in Dispatch or similar
Tech savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in data entry
