About the role
Run day-to-day trade of a busy walk-up/takeaway food operation for Warlu Way Group, a growing Western Australian hospitality group. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will run high-volume daily trade, lead a small team, and manage the numbers day to day, with real autonomy in how the business is run.
Key responsibilities
Running day-to-day trade of a busy walk-up/takeaway food operation — rostering, ordering, stock control and cash reconciliation
Leading, training and rostering a small front-of-house and kitchen team
Maintaining food quality, presentation and speed of service through peak periods
Managing supplier relationships and controlling cost of goods and wastage
Implementing and enforcing food safety, hygiene and compliance standards
Reporting sales, labour and stock performance to the Group Operations team
About you
Proven experience managing a takeaway, QSR, café or similarly fast-paced food business
Comfortable running high-volume service without dropping standards
Robust people leadership — you can train, motivate and hold a small team accountable
Financial literacy — you understand rosters, COGS, wastage and margin
Current food safety supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
A versatile, hands-on approach — happy to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as trade requires
A genuine, self-starting approach — you back yourself, follow through, and don't need to be chased
