Mechanical Fitter – Afternoon Shift | $52/hr + Loading + Super

Sydney | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | 3pm–11pm

We’re looking for aqualified Mechanical Fitterto join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility on a permanent afternoon shift.

You’ll be responsible for keeping production equipment running reliably, completing preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns.

Your day-to-day will include:
Preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
Fault finding and breakdown repairs
Working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and automated machinery
Bearing, belt, chain and seal replacements
Equipment adjustments, servicing and changeovers
Assisting with machinery upgrades and improvements
Completing maintenance records and work orders




Working closely with production and electrical teams
Maintaining high safety and quality standards

About You
Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
Previous manufacturing/production maintenance experience
Robust mechanical fault-finding skills
Hands-on experience with production machinery
Valuable understanding of preventative maintenance
Robust safety and quality focus
Able to work independently and as part of a team

Pharmaceutical, FMCG, food or other highly regulated manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
