A well-established commercial construction specialist based in Melbourne's inner east is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.

With over 30 years in the Australian construction industry, this business has built a reputation on delivering high-quality commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and current builds — from education and healthcare facilities to sports precincts, hospitality fit-outs and corporate offices.

About The Role As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of commercial construction projects from initial estimating and planning through to handover, leading a dedicated project team and ensuring every job is delivered on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle across commercial fit-out, refurbishment and recent build projects
Develop and maintain project programs, budgets and procurement schedules
Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and consultants
Liaise directly with clients, architects and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met
Oversee quality, safety (OH&S;) and environmental compliance on site




Identify and manage project risks, variations and commercial outcomes
Report on project progress, budgets and forecasts to senior management

About You
Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction (fit-out, refurbishment or new build)
Robust understanding of construction methodology, programming and budgeting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A collaborative, hands-on approach with a genuine focus on client outcomes
Relevant trade, construction management or engineering qualifications preferred
Current driver's license and right to work in Australia
