Located just minutes from Macquarie Park Metro station, our hotel caters to a diverse mix of business and leisure travelers. As a Demi Chef, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards
Help to develop new menu items and recipes
Manage and train junior kitchen staff
Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized at all times
Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as needed
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Assist with the planning and execution of special events and catering functions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Demi Chef or similar role
Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
Ability to work well under pressure and in a rapid-paced setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and a passion for cooking
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
