Remedium Healthcare Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to choose your own hours servicing oncology patients in their own homes.
What you'll be doing
Delivering expert oncology nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, with the ability to travel independently to and from each patients' home
Administering chemotherapy and other medication under the direction of oncologists
Monitoring patients' conditions and responding promptly to any changes or concerns
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and safety protocols
What we're looking for
Current registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of 3 years' experience working in an oncology or haematology setting
Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of oncology nursing practice
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with patients,
families and the multidisciplinary team
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
