An exciting prospect for an experienced Workday Payroll Manager to join a leading organisation in Sydney on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Following a major Workday implementation, the organisation is now focused on embedding best-practice payroll processes, strengthening internal capability and getting the most from its Workday investment.
About the role:
Build capability across the payroll team through coaching, training and hands-on support
Optimise payroll processes, systems and ways of working
Troubleshoot complex payroll and Workday issues and drive resolutions
Develop payroll reporting, dashboards and data insights
Create process documentation, training materials and knowledge resources
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver payroll improvements
Support the ongoing optimisation and scalability of the payroll function
About you:
Solid Australian Workday Payroll experience is essential
Comprehensive end-to-end Australian payroll knowledge
Experience supporting a Workday implementation, optimisation or payroll transformation
Solid coaching and capability-building skills
Excellent reporting, data analysis and problem-solving abilities
Robust stakeholder management and communication skills
The ability to translate technical system concepts into practical, user-friendly solutions
