Seeking a Financial Accountant to join a cooperative finance team in the For Purpose sector. This role is heavily focused on capital expenditure (CAPEX) accounting, major project accounting, fixed assets, and stakeholder engagement across the business.

This organisation operates in the For Purpose sector and is based in Caulfield.

Description
- Manage CAPEX accounting for major infrastructure and development projects
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and asset capitalisation
Maintain and analyse the fixed asset register
Manage depreciation, disposals and asset integrations
Prepare monthly and quarterly CAPEX reporting packs
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
Assist with management reporting and financial analysis
Partner with stakeholders to track project spend, budgets and timelines
Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiencies

Profile




CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
5+ years' accounting experience
Solid CAPEX accounting experience
Experience managing WIP, asset capitalisation and fixed assets
Experience supporting large-scale projects and capital investments
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
