We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join a busy team based in Prestons.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for full-time, ongoing work with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment for the right person.

About the Role

As a Trade Assistant, you will support the trades and workshop team with a variety of hands-on duties, including:
Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day tasks
General workshop and labouring duties
Moving, handling and preparing equipment and materials
Using basic hand and power tools
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Other duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Comfortable working in a hands-on environment




Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Willing to learn and take direction
Safety-conscious with a positive attitude
Electrical experience or exposure is highly preferred
Previous Trade Assistant, workshop or mechanical experience is advantageous
