Settlements Officer

Join one of Australia's leading full-service broking organisations as a Settlements Officer within a high-performing Operations team.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 12 months' experience in Equities Operations who is looking to further develop their career within a well-established and respected financial services business.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage DVP settlement obligations
Investigate and escalate unmatched trades
Process and monitor ASX Corporate Actions
Manage dividend payments and nominee account reconciliations
Monitor outstanding cash and stock obligations
Liaise with advisers and third-party clearing and settlement providers
Ensure compliance with ASX rules, internal controls and procedures
Support team projects and process improvement initiatives

Experience required:




Minimum 12 months' experience in Equities Operations, Settlements or Custody
Strong understanding of the clearing, settlement and custody lifecycle
Knowledge of CHESS and ASX business rules
Experience with Corporate Actions processing
Highly organised with solid attention to detail
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Robust computer literacy
