We are looking for full time Chef for our restaurant located in Swan Hill, 38 hours per week role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation the food for cooking, garnish and representation
Keep up with industry trends and creating recent recipes
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Support restaurant during peak periods and event catering as needed
Reviewing the menu and doing inventory
Assist in menu development and planning
Demonstrate, implement, and maintain effective cost control strategies.
Skills and Experience:
Previous 1 - 2 YEAR CHEF experience in a busy Vietnamese/Chinese kitchen
Outstanding communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team.
Certificate III or IV in commercial cookery.
Reliable and hard working
You must be passionate about food and able to lead by example, with drive, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
SALARY: $80,000 - $87,000 GROSS PER ANNUM FULL TIME PLUS SUPERANNUATION
