About the Role - URGENT

We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable female Disability Support Worker to support a participant with complex physical, neurological, and mental health needs .

This position involves providing high levels of individualised support in a person-centred setting. It requires solid manual-handling skills and a trauma-informed approach. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine commitment to empowering participants while safeguarding their safety, dignity, and overall quality of life. Applicants whose first language is English are preferred.

Location : Annerley , Lawnton, Heathwood, Redland bay

Key Responsibilities
Support personal care with warmth, patience and total respect for dignity.
Open up the community - outings, appointments, activities and everyday adventures.




Offer real companionship and steady emotional support.
Keep explicit, accurate records and flag any concerns early to the team.

Requirements
Native English speakers preferred (as per participant preference)
Female candidates only - 20 to 30 years old(participant’s personal preference)
Knowledge and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practices
High-level empathy, patience, and compassion
Ability to remain calm and responsive during escalations and behavioural concerns.
First Aid and CPR (Restrictive practice training is a plus)
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
Driver’s license and reliable transport - must own a suitable vehicle.
